Patty McCain is a graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Patty is a former professional tennis player on the WTA Tour and was the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Texas for 9 years. She has been a resident of Austin since 2005.
Patty joined the Stark Center staff in April of 2023. Patty loves sports history and is an avid UT Sports fan. She is excited to play a role in the preservation of the history of athletics at the University of Texas. Patty hopes to help further the accessibility of the athletics collections for research and to help tell the stories of the University of Texas coaches, athletes, and influential administrators.
