Finding Aids

Finding aids are navigational tools for archival collections.  Archival collections, the papers of individuals and organizations, can sometimes be difficult to use – they may be so large that they fill dozens of boxes or so disorganized that gathering material on related topics is impossible.  A good finding aid will help researchers focus on the materials of most value to their project.   We encourage Stark Center researchers to start with a thorough review of the relevant finding aid then contact us about using any material identified in the review.
