Curator

Kyle R M is a third generation Calabrese-American, born and raised in Austin, Texas. In 2010, he graduated cum laude from Saint Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing & Rhetoric (Creative Focus). He has previously and continues to publish fiction and essays with a number of magazines and journals. He first arrived at the Stark Center in September 2014, when Terry and Jan Todd hired him as a library assistant. He left in 2018 to start a sole proprietorship–KRM Design–and spent the next two and a half years working in partnership with the museum and exhibits team at the LBJ Presidential Library. During that time, he also completed projects for the Briscoe Center for American History and the Stark Center. In January 2020, he returned to the Stark Center and officially became the Curator in September 2024. His primary fields of work are writing, designing, and curating new exhibits and other creative projects related to the promotion, marketing, and enhancement of the Stark Center and its missions. He also serves as the technical editor of Iron Game History.
