A highlight of the 1920s UT football was the building of Texas Memorial Stadium, completed 1924. It was dedicated at the A&M game was built as a permanent monument to the University alumni who lost their lives in the “war to end all wars,” World War I. The program includes narratives about the history of how the stadium came to be and its importance to UT.
