There is a certain beauty in simple lines and curves. When those lines and curves have been forged by hand, beauty and strength become one. Many have been left speechless by Dennis Rogers, who performs feats of strength that even old-timers find amazing. Rogers is a former (retired) US Open, National and World Arm-Wrestling Champion who has been recognized by the Association of Oldetime Barbell & Strongmen twice, receiving both the Pound-for-Pound Strength Athlete Award (1993) and the Vic Boff Award (2010). In his effort to keep the old-time strongman tradition alive, he is currently sharing his training secrets and techniques with students through his Oldetime Strongman University. Rogers has donated several items of “bent stuff” to the Stark Center, including nails, railroad spikes, frying pans, and horseshoes.
