Join us for a special lecture by Dr. Tolga Ozyurtcu that celebrates over a century of Longhorn Olympians, including the impressive medal count won this summer at the Olympic Games in Paris. Sports historian, faculty member in the Kinesiology and Health Education Department at UT-Austin, and Assistant Director at the H.J. Lutcher Stark Center for Physical Culture and Sports, Dr. Ozyurtcu will speak on the stories of Longhorn Olympians and how they inform our broader understanding of sports and history. Past and present Longhorn Olympians will be in attendance and a reception will follow.
